Clinical Supervision and Internships
At Cannenta Foundation, our goal is to also empower Latina and other minority practitioners who are first generation college graduates or come from modest means to learn how to manage and build a practice while gaining skills to dictate their earning potential.
“Cannenta” means a woman possessing healing powers. We strive to provide opportunities for minority women to complete requirements to become a Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts through supervision and hands-on practice. We provide clinical development and supervision for Licensed Professional Counselor Associates and Licensed Master of Social Workers. Cost of clinical supervision is built a pay schedule for client services provided. LMSW and LPC Associates are required to provide a minimum of 10 sessions per week to qualify for supervision.
Limited Master level advanced placement internships are also available. Graduate students will have opportunities to gain group and individual clinical experience. An application, interview, and a MOU with a university are required for consideration.
